As a nonprofit association, the Big Bend Bluegrass Association encourages the promotion, preservation, and enjoyment of bluegrass and old-time traditional music in the Big Bend Region of Far West Texas through public performances, workshops, educational programs, and historic preservation efforts.

Discover the magic of live bluegrass music in Historic Alpine Texas!  This event is indoors with free workshops, jamming and more!  Bring your family, friends and favorite chair (seating is provided) and join us this fall for a magical weekend!

The Big Bend Bluegrass Association (BBBA) is a licensed affiliate of the Play It Forward!® Instrument Lending Program, which was created by the Bluegrass Heritage Foundation (BHF). BBBA works with bluegrass musicians and music teachers to foster music literacy and performance skills in deserving young people (ages 8-21) by providing no-cost access to the primary bluegrass musical instruments such as mandolins, fiddles, banjos, and guitars.

The Association

The BBBA is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers, promoting bluegrass, country and gospel music in Far West Texas. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
